Happy New Year! I hope 2020 brings you all you wish for. We have been very busy in the Academy the last few months. Currently, we are preparing for our celebration of Catholic Schools Week, which will begin on Sunday, January 26th, at the 11 am Mass. I hope many of you will be able to attend. A schedule for Catholic Schools Week will go home shortly. We will finalize the schedule this Friday, January, 17, 2020.
As you can imagine, every day at school is a busy one for the teachers and I, but I am always looking for things to improve. To that end, I would really like all parents to fill out the survey below about academics. If you have children in more than one grade band, you can take the survey twice if you’d like to do so. There is a second survey that comes from one of my “Coffee with the Principal,” Meetings. I would appreciate it if you would complete that one, too!

Welcome to Pre-K! We are off to a great start. The children are learning the classroom rules and procedures. They are making new friends and learning to share. Keep up the good work!! 
We have come to the end of a great school year. The students have worked so hard this year and are ready to go to kindergarten. Here are some important dates and reminders for the month of June:
June 5,2019: Spring Picnic at 1:30 p.m. in the school yard. If there is rain that day, then it will be held in the classroom.
June 6,2019: NO SCHOOL for students. The teachers will be attending a Professional Development Meeting.
June 7,2019: Step-Up Ceremony: The children will arrive at 9:15 a.m. The ceremony will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony will run approximately 20-25 minutes. The children can come to school dressed comfortably. Once the ceremony is over, the children will be dismissed from the Atlantic Avenue doors just like we do every day when school is over.
June 12,2019: The Last Day of Afterschool
June 19,2019: THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! The children will come to school from 8:30 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Please be on time in picking up your child.
